We’ve been talking about going camping for months! So Josh put together this surprise overnight date adventure!

Here’s how we spent our 24 hours in nature:

• Hammocks naps

• Reading The Good Book

• Playing ‘Kings in the Corner’

• Nature walks and real talks

• Embracing the silence

• Setting an alarm to stargaze at 1:30AM

• Waking with the sunrise

• Trader Joes snacks + simple meals

It was quiet, grounding, grace-filled and perfect.

Now the countdown is super real….

We’re just 75 days away from our Wedding Day!

A Quick Life Reflection

We’ve been waking up every single morning at 5AM for the past 38 days. Yes - 5:00AM. It’s been a game changer! It’s never easy, and that’s the point! Building our willpower and owning our mornings with consistency.

We have been working out consistently too. Josh has been running, rowing and doing lots of strength training with Bully Juice on Youtube, and Jayna has been loving her home Pilates with Maria Stephan and Mobility with Julia Reppel on Youtube, plus some refreshing aqua aerobics and weighted vest walking thrown in. It’s been awesome seeing the results happen.

This is what we feel has been the most impactful ~
- Good sleep schedule
- Getting our workout in within the first 2 hours of waking
- Not drinking empty calories
-Lots of hydration, electrolytes, balanced meals & supplements
-Getting soul food from The Good Book and daily prayer together

We also created life plans based on the book Living Forward, and it helped us get clear on what matters to each of us, what life accounts need balancing, and what actions to take.

• We read our life plan daily to ourselves and place our specific commitments into our calendars.

• Revisit it monthly / quarterly for updates because progress is happening!

• Review and revamp it annually for the rest of life 😄 

Another exciting update to share — Jayna has accepted a new position as a Designer with Closet Factory! She starts on August 11 and couldn’t be more excited.

After much prayer and reflection, Jayna fully embraced that her greatest passions and gifts are creation and innovation. With that clarity, she shifted her focus from project management to roles allowing her to bring those strengths to life. When she came across this opportunity, it was a clear and joyful “yes” and she applied right away.

She prayed daily not just to get the job, but for the interview to feel simple, aligned, and pressure-free, without needing to prove her worth. And that’s exactly what happened. The interview was the best, it felt like a genuine conversation, and she even had the chance to meet the owner of the company the same day.

This role will be creative, dynamic, and full of opportunities for growth and fun. She’ll be designing custom organization systems for homes. Working with The Art of Organization (and if you know Jayna, you know how much she loves organizing).

Even better, the role offers flexibility, which fits perfectly with the season ahead.

OK and the BIGGEST. MOST AWESOME. WOW. JAW DROPPING. YAYYY update!
After several months of exploring our faith by going to church, reading Scripture, asking questions, and searching for truth, something extra special happened.

On July 9, 2025, while having coffee with our pastor, we chose to give our lives to Jesus. Right there at Starbucks, we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

What finally clicked for us was realizing that it wasn’t about religion. It was about a real relationship, one built on love, grace, and truth. It meant stepping out of a self-led life and letting God lead.

We’ve found more freedom in that, not less. It’s not about following a list of rules. It’s about knowing and walking with God, and building our lives on a solid foundation. If you have interest in listening in on some sermons from our church, they are LIVE streamed weekly and posted right here.

All in all? Life has been full of tiny tweaks that are making a big difference, in our habits AND in our hearts ❤️. We are both getting refined and worked on daily by God. We are works in progress… 😁

Make sure your passport is valid and not expiring within 6 months of travel. It’s one of those things that sneaks up on you!

🏨 For Our Off-Resort Guests
We’re so happy you’ll be joining us & you’re covered for the wedding day—we’ve already purchased your day pass so you can eat, drink, and celebrate with us on resort, all-inclusive style.

If you’d like to visit the resort on additional days, day passes are available:

• $100 USD per adult

• $50 USD per child

These passes give you access to unlimited food, drinks, and the resort amenities for the day from 9am-10pm!

💡Pro tip: Let us know in advance if you plan to join us at the resort on other days, so we can help coordinate!

A Note to YOU

Whether you're packing your bags for Cabo, following along online & simply sending love from afar ~ we feel you with us, and we’re so thankful.

This season has been a beautiful mix of planning & personal transformation.

But more than anything, it’s reminded us to savor the people we love.

That means you.
